About CARW

My name is Dewi Wyn Thomas and before I set up CARW I was employed in the electricity supply industry for nearly 40 years, my final position being Hydro Electric Operations Manager for a group of power stations.

The author of a book "Hydro Electricty - North Wales" which was published in 1997, I have featured regularly on television and radio programmes dealing with family history research topics.

In researching my own ancestry I discovered the stag (carw in Welsh) is the family crest which has been in existence since the 12th Century. This is now used as the company name and logo.
